CONTEXT

Pawlower is a clothing brand created with the purpose of raising awareness about mental health by highlighting the positive impact of having pets. The brand communicates how companionship with animals can help improve emotional well-being, reduce stress, and provide support in everyday life.

STORY

STORY

The inspiration behind Pawlower comes from my personal experience with a dog named Tako.

Tako originally belonged to a neighbor who decided to give him away because he would cry frequently and make a lot of noise. At that time, my family was not open to having pets inside the home. However, I took the initiative to bring Tako into my life and gradually convinced my parents to allow him to stay.

Over time, Tako became more than just a pet—he became an important part of my daily life. During periods of stress and anxiety, his presence provided comfort and stability. Even today, Tako continues to play a meaningful role in helping me manage difficult moments and maintain a sense of balance.

This personal experience is what motivated me to create Pawlower: a brand that reflects the emotional connection between humans and pets, and shares the same sense of support that I experienced with others who may benefit from it.

NAME MEANING

NAME MEANING

The name Pawlower is derived from a combination of the words Paw and Follower.

It represents the idea that pets are constant companions that follow us through different moments in life. They remain by our side with loyalty, offering support, presence, and unconditional connection. The name aims to capture that sense of companionship and emotional reliability.

IDENTITY

IDENTITY

The visual identity of Pawlower is built around a pictogram representing a dog silhouette.

The goal was to create a mark that communicates loyalty, trust, and emotional connection. The simplified silhouette reinforces clarity and recognizability, while also allowing the brand to remain versatile across different applications.

The chosen color palette is centered around an ocean blue tone, which helps convey feelings of calmness, stability, and trust. This color choice supports the brand’s message of emotional well-being and reinforces a sense of reliability and peace associated with the brand.

The logo was developed through multiple sketch iterations, exploring different ways to represent a dog silhouette in a simple yet meaningful form.

To refine the final design, I applied the golden ratio using circular construction to guide proportions and spacing. This approach helped achieve a visually balanced and harmonious composition, ensuring that the pictogram feels structured and intentional.

The result is a clean and proportioned dog silhouette that communicates trust and aligns with the core values of Pawlower’s brand identity.

PROJECT

A NEW BEGINNING COLLECTION

“A New Beginning” is the first collection launched under the Pawlower brand. It was designed as an introduction to the brand’s message, aiming to connect with individuals who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

The collection serves as a starting point for communicating the idea that pets can be part of a positive change offering companionship, emotional support, and a sense of purpose. Through this collection, Pawlower introduces both its visual identity and its underlying mission to its audience.
